Trek Itinerary
- Day 1 - Airport - Sembalun Village
- Arrive at Lombok Airport and transfer to Sembalun Village
- Stay Overnight & dinner
- Day 2 - Sembalun Village Start Point - Crater Rom 2 (Sembalun)
- Breakfast at Hotel Sembalun Lawang (1,156 m)
- Meet your guide who will arrange a National Park entry ticket and register.
- The guide will brief you on the route details, local cultural traditions, and what you might see, and explain rubbish management and safety procedures.
- The trek starts from Sembalun Lawang with a gentle ascent through open grassland used for cattle grazing by local people.
- Rest stop at Pos 1 Pemantauan (1,300 m), after about three hours from Sembalun we reach Pos 2 Tengengean (1,500 m) enjoying the beautiful views of Mt. Rinjani summit (3,726 m).
- After another 2 hours' ascent to Pos 3 Pada Balong (1,800 m), we start the steep climb to the campsite at Plawangan II Sembalun crater rim (2,639 m). We will reach the campsite in 6-8 hours depending on our speed.
- Day 3 - Crater Rim 2 - Summit Rinjani - Segara Anak lake
- 3 AM: Start the climb to the summit (3,726 m)
- 6 am/7 am: Reach the summit, and enjoy the amazing sunrise views across the Wallace Line to Bali, Mt. Agung, and Sumbawa.
- Return down to the ridge passing by Bunga Abadi to the crater rim camp for a well-deserved breakfast.
- After breakfast, climb down to lake Segara Anak (2,000 m) within the Rinjani crater. It takes two to three hours down the steep trail to the crater lake and day 2’s camp.
- The rest of the day is spent relaxing, swimming in the lake, and exploring the caves and pilgrimage hot springs, believed to have healing powers.
- Day 4 - Segara Anak Lake - Torean Village - Hotel Senggigi Area
- After breakfast, leave the lake and Go Down to Torean to see the nice panorama at Water fall hill.
- During the Hiking take a rest for having lunch somewhere nearby the river.
- Then continue at torean village (7-8 Hours walking). At the village, a car will be waiting to transfer to Senggigi Area.
- We reach the hotel take bath, have a good dinner and relax.
- Day 5 - Hotel - Transfer to Airport and back to Singapore
