Day-wise Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1300M)

• Travel: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport; private transfer to the hotel.
• Warm welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy dinner and an introduction to the upcoming Yatra.
• Accommodation & Meals: Standard Hotel, Dinner.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

• Travel: Spiritual sightseeing tour by tour bus/drive within Kathmandu.
• Duration: Full Day.
• Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Guhyeshwari Temple, Budhanilkantha (Sleeping Vishnu), and the majestic Boudhanath Stupa. The afternoon is for Kailash journey preparation.
• Accommodation & Meals: Standard Hotel, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Kodari

• Travel: Bus ~6 hours
• A scenic journey passing through winding mountain roads, lush landscapes, and riverside views. Check into a hotel near the border for the night.
• Accommodation & Meals: Basic Hotel, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 04: Drive to Kerung (2,800m) or Nyalam (3,750m)

• Travel: Cross the Nepal/China Border (after formalities) and transfer to a bus for the onward journey into Tibet.
• Duration: 3 hours
• Drive through high mountain landscapes. Arrive at Kerung or Nyalam for rest and acclimatization.
• Accommodation & Meals: Standard Hotel, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 05: Rest Day in Kerung or Nyalam

• Duration: Full Day.
• Dedicated to rest and acclimatization to the increasing altitude. Engage in light walks and explore the surroundings.
• Accommodation & Meals: Standard Hotel, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 06: Drive to Saga (4,450m)

• Travel: Drive deeper into Tibet by bus.
• Duration: Approximately 6 hours
• Journey deeper into Tibet, crossing the Labung-La Pass (5,050m) and passing the sparkling Pekhu Tso Lake. Witness a timeless view of Tibetan life with nomads and the vast plateau landscape.
• Accommodation & Meals: Standard Hotel, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 07: Drive to Manasarover (4558M)

• Travel: Long drive by bus.
• Duration: Approximately 7 to 10 hours (covering ~500 km).
• A long drive through valleys, grazing lands, sand dunes, and snow-capped peaks. Get your first view of sacred Mount Kailash and the turquoise waters of Lake Manasarovar.
• Accommodation & Meals: Mud House, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 08: Puja at Lake Manasarovar – Drive to Darchen (4,575m)

• Travel: Holy rituals at the lake followed by a short drive to Darchen.
• Duration: 3 hours
• Early morning holy rituals and Puja by taking a dip in the sacred lake, surrounded by Mount Kailash and others. Drive to Darchen, the base camp for the Parikrama.
• Accommodation & Meals: Standard Hotel, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 09: Trek to Dirapuk (5,000m)

• Travel: Sacred Kailash Parikrama Trek from Darchen.
• Duration: Six to seven hours trek (~18 km).
• The first day of the trek, passing dramatic rocky cliffs and cascading waterfalls, with frequent, majestic glimpses of Mount Kailash.
• Accommodation & Meals: Guest House, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 10: Trek to Zuthulpuk via Dolma-La Pass (5,630m)

• Travel: Challenging Parikrama Trek, ascending to Dolma-La Pass.
• Duration: Full Day.
• See/Scenery: The most challenging and rewarding day, with a steep ascent to the Dolma-La Pass, the highest point of the Yatra. Descend past Shiva-sthal, Parvati-sthal, and the sacred Gauri Kund.
• Accommodation & Meals: Guest House, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 11: End of Parikrama – Drive to Saga (4550M)

• Travel: Final leg of the trek, followed by a coach drive back to Saga via Darchen.
• Duration: Short two-hour trek + Drive (duration not specified for drive).
• See/Scenery: Complete the final, short leg of the Parikrama before meeting the coach. Enjoy the vast, open Tibetan landscapes as you retrace your route back to Saga.

Day 12: Drive to Kerung or Nyalam

• Travel: Drive back towards the border region.
• Duration: 6 hours
• See/Scenery: Begin the journey back, passing through scenic mountain terrain and offering stunning views of the Tibetan plateau.

Day 13: Drive from Kerung to Kathmandu

• Travel: Bus travel in Kathmandu
• Duration: 8 hours

Day 14 : Take flight back home

• Travel : Drop off to Kathamandu Airport
